I haven't heard anyone on here using it, but if you get the pure cocoa powder bournville (I think) with no added sugar, it is actually very low carb - I used to make it up with cream a few years back when doing atkins and it had no effect on ketosis.....mmm!
I thought I was going mad as I had seen it to! lol. I can't post a link as on my itouch but member ma.bo mentions coco powder in the "sprucing up your shakes" thread about 5 days ago in the total solution forum saying it was lovely but personally I would be to chicken to risk it lol

I think the reason it did not come up in search is because ma.bo called it coco powder and not cocoa which caused some confusion
The cocoa powder the member mentions is low carb and cals per teaspoon, almost comparable with bouillon lol The sugar content will be a lot different though I am sure Either way its not something I would try/risk (as I am also trying hard to get out of the habit of chocolate) but it may work for that member just like some are happy to substitute bars etc. Different strokes for different folks and all that, whilst in the ideal world we should all be having 3 exante packs and water a day and only that, if a teaspoon of cocoa thrown into someone's shake now and then or a different bar keeps someone plugging away at this extreme diet for the long term then good for them I say
