I'm considering it...... Got a wee while to go before I can apply, but my consultant mentioned it to me the other night...

How did you get on? I am only 4lb away from being a suitable consultant weight and would quite like to do it. I have talked to my consultant about it and she is getting the paperwork but she hasn't really told me what the qualification process entails yet...

How long does it take to get qualified?
Are there any upfront initial costs like with joining any franchise?
If there are no initial costs in guess there is still the cost of purchasing the initial batch of products to sell on, is that assumption correct?

If any consultants on here have any input that would be greatly appreciated!

Hey hunny! How much fun, I can't wait to go the course. Is it just a day? Application going in this week just before convention! I'll hit target then too :) 6st done!!
Are you going to convention? I'm a VIP (major boast lol) short listed slimmer :-DD.
Do you have to return for the exam?

Xx

Do you find consultants are happy to put you forward? aren't they creating competition for themselves? I had been thinking about it but was going to wait and see if my cdc suggested it when I'm nearer goal...

My consultant seems more than happy to put me forward, we live opposite sides of the city, so I don't think I will be taking clients from her....

Ah. See my consultant lives just down the road from me. I'd be interested to do it - the extra money would be nice, but we'll see how the whole weight loss thing goes first!

My consultant works on the opposite side of London and only makes a 2 hour lay over in my area on a Friday evening so she wants me to consult. She does more than just consult, she has a full time office open in Uxbridge and quite a few other consultants who work for her in the different areas of London. She said that her consultants get about £25 per appointment of someone on SS/SS+/Step 2 and then I would get my products at the value she pays etc. on top of that.
I have to get down to 184lb to qualify (13 stone 2) so only 4lbs to go! If that isn't motivation I don't know what is. Feeling more motivated now it's a week day again.

How much do your products cost per week then? My shakes are £2.15 and tetras/bars are £2.40 - I'm curious to see how much that varies across the country.

Mine are £2.10 for a shake/porridge and £2.35 for a bar/ready made shake. I have read in some places that they only charge £1.90 for a shake etc. but I guess it all depends on the consultants mark-up. My consultant said they make £20-25 per appointment meaning they pick the products up for maybe half. That's assumption and speculation though.

I pay £2.00 for shakes/porridge and £2.25 for bars too. I'm in the Reading area. X
