Would you say it was easier and free to add your own veg to plain cous cous rather than the packet which seem to have syns.

cous cous doesnt take long to prepare at all. I much rather buy the plain stuff and add my own stuff to it.

I always buy plain couscous, that way I can add exactly the seasoning & veggies I want to, and I make up just the right amount, so there is no waste.

I agree! A few leftover veggies and a splash of salad dressing and you are good to go
