Gonna give this version of cruise a try, does anyone know if I should still be having an allowance of oatbran every day? Havent got the book to hand!
 
It is highly recommended that you continue having the oat bran.
It is recommended in STAB also.... so I would not skip it!

I didnt wanna skip it i just didnt know if i should still have it or not!

...and i need to add it to my shopping list!

Can anyone explain to me why I would actually still need to eat it on non-Dukan days if Im getting dietry fibre etc from other things I am eating?

I dont wanna over load on extra carbs or fibre if I dont need them! On a normal day i would eat a bowl of cereal, so whats the purpose of oatbran?
 
Think it's that oatbran absorbs other things as it passes thru so decreases ur
Absorbtion of "bad stuff" so to speak.
 
Besides my cereal in the morning, most of my days will be PV's! I wonder how much damage cereal can do lol

A friend of mine had the same questions.
Dr Dukan recommends oat bran in the stabilization phase too...
That means something.
I can tell you from my experience.
I gained all the weight back in 2010 because I considered I'm on a safe ground.
ONE YEAR ..... all the weight back!
Maybe that's just me.... and it's not your case.

In general I do not eat junk, I dont binge and I exercise 4 - 5 times a week. Ive always drunk litres of water a day.

In the two weeks I didnt follow Dukan at all I only put on 2lbs, this was due to cake or chocolate every day, a 3 course dinner etc etc and I knew exactly why I put it on.

I dont want Dukan to be a complete way of life when I know how to eat properly etc, sometimes I just choose not to :D

I stabilised a weight of 11st 2 for about 18 months before starting Dukan, Im just doing this to get back to where I was happiest.

When I get back from Florida in May I will start Dukan properly from the beginning and continue right into stabilisation!
 
You're doing well.
I'm afraid to go back to "normal" eating habits.
I tend to binge.

I've been AWOL from the forum since November so what is 2/0 please? Is it a new Dukan concept I've not heard about? :confused: I know his diet is constantly evolving so I was just wondering.

2 days of PP and then 5 days of eating what u want within reason, designed for women who carry their weight in their hips and thighs and for cellulite.

I tried it for a week but ate too much rubbish and didnt lose any weight!
 
That's why I'd never bother with it. If we knew how to eat within reason without ketosis, we'd not be desperate enough to turn to a high protein diet, lol! ;)
 
I am afraid of normal eating habits too once I am finished - just for fear that I will gain!
