hi all, felling confused :confused: am only in my second wk of slimming world and lost 6lb at my first weigh in (doing on line plan), was really pleased, bt got on scales today . . yes I know I shouldnt have its not my weigh day till sataday, bt did it anyway, have gained 2lb, have not put a foot wronge have followed to the letter, is this normal ??
 
Hmmm... probably! Moral of the story is to try and stay away from the scales!

Also keep carbs to a minimum. Yes, I know that SW advocate the eating of 'free' pasta, rice and potatoes but bear in mind that they all have calories and if you are weighing at a time where you may have eaten dense carbs/drunk lots, then you'll weigh heavier.

Try and eat 3 times a day, follow the SW principles and avoid over eating carb heavy foods.

What was your weight yesterday?
 
Thanks for that did loose one pound ! Think your right may have gotten carried away with the whole free carbs thing !! Will be more sensible next weigh in due Sat morn so fingers crossed :)
 
Yes - the keeping an eye on the carbs thing is absolutely crucial - and the reason why SW doesn't work for everybody! Try and cut them right down, up the veg and you'll be right back on track.
 
Did third weigh in and lost 3 lb so that's 10 in three wk. Don't expect to always loose so much bt think its on track now. Think the eat as much as you want thing can give a false scense of security. Especially if like me you can eat your own body weight in spuds !!
