D Day for me

Hello everyone, first I would like to say that you guys are so supportive. I spent an hour reading your forums before I decided to join and I am impressed by the sense of support and encouragement on here.

I have put 4 stone on in three years - yes I know! I can't quite believe it myself. With the weight gain has come lack of confidence and self-esteem all time low. So after some online research I decided to go with Lipotrim. Today was the first day and it went OK. I have a supportive boyfriend who may even join me on it which is very helpful.

My first week will be 10 days long as we have a long weekend in Cornwall booked from Thursday. We are in a bed and breakfast but I am confident I can get through that temptation as I just so want to lose weight and be well on my way to 'slim and confident' by time my 44th birthday comes round in September.

So good luck everyone else, and with luck and will power there will be a happy post in ten days time!

Hi schmoozy! I'm a newbie to and contemplating lipotrim as well! Reading lots about it and really want to give it a go... I'm going to talk to the chemist next week and prob start the week after.. I'll be following you to see how your getting on! Keep us updated!! And good luck!!!

Thanks Jeni, I certainly will keep posting. Real name is Jo by the way, Schmoo is my cat!
It looks like it works if you stick to it, judging by the comments on here, so definitely worth a go. I have tried everything else more than once, so I am feeling really in the zone for this.
Good luck to you!
Jo

Hi Jo! Looks like we r on the same path! I have tried EVERYTHING to! And I'm really hoping I can get 'in the zone' to cos this years diets have all failed and I now weigh more than ever! My thinking on this one is that you can easily 'cheat' on ww, sl etc etc but this really is NO food, it's like any addiction smoking, alcohol.. Take it away your on the right path but you can't do that with food... Or CAN YOU?! (is that a bad thing to compare it to!) hopefully you know what I mean!!! Anyway so your down 1 day? How much weight are u hoping to lose? :)

Oh and btw have a great time down here! (I live in Cornwall!) and my bday is in sept to! Heres hoping we can wear the special party dress huh!!

Hi Jeni
Well first 24 hours done and I must admit, I weighed myself this morning and down by 3lbs - OK I know it is ridiculous to weigh yourself after one day but I couldn't resist. Not going near them now until Thursday morning now which will be 6 days on the diet. I am hoping to lose 5 stone in all but by time I have lost 2 to 3 stone I will be SO much happier. From this forum I can see that people say set very small goals, even 1 day goals, so that's the way I am going to look at it. I am looking forward to the weekend in Cornwall, especially as my other half has decided to join me on the Lipotrim so the breakfast will not be so much of a challenge. I hope you fix the weather down there for us!
Have a good week
Jo

Wow that's great your boyfriend is being so supportive! I know my husband is going to be an issue! But I'm going to have a few strong words!! I think reading on here you need the support from everyone around you! I've warned all the girls in the office I might be having a few 'off' days!!
Well all the best Jo... Is weigh day Thursday then? At the chemist? Oh and how do the shakes taste?
I have 5 stone to lose to... It feels like a long journey ahead but after reading some of the amazing success stories who knows!! I've got a good feeling about this!! May change when I actually start it!! Lol
I'm afraid it's not good news about the weather down here... Id bring a 'pak-a-mak' lol sorry!!! Fingers crossed its better for you! ;)

Hi Jo how u getting on? Must be hard being away on LT! I conjured up a bit of sunshine for you but looking a bit grey out there now! When you weighing in Thursday? :)

Hi Jeni
my weigh day should be on Saturday but as I am away then it will be Monday lunchtime at the local pharmacy. I am anxious about it a bit. They aren't great down there and the scales were playing up when I weighed in for the first time! Anyway, other half is cheating a bit by having some protein between shakes. Men only get 2 (bigger ones) but he gets a faint feeling (and very grumpy!) by lunchtime so he is having some chicken to keep him going. It shouldn't hurt too much but I guess he will see less weight loss - he better not lose more than me - I will be the grumpy one then!
When are you planning to start then?
It's lovely day here sunny and not a cloud in the sky but it's turning tomorrow apparently.
Oh well, couple of days away from the desk, that's good enough.

Hi Jo.. Glad your enjoying your break and big well done with staying on track! If you can do it being away I can Deffo do it sat in the office all week! Don't worry to much about your boyfriends weight loss men always lose more unfortunately, me and hubby both started a diet in January it fell off him and slipped off me and I'm bigger than him! Grrr! Must be a good support tho, my hub has promised to support me and even offered to cook tea for him and my son before I get home from work BONUS!
I'm starting a week Friday, 22nd I think... I'm frustrated cos I really want to get going!! But my son is away on a school trip and it will be our first week alone in many years!! We have big plans!!! Pub, dinner, walking round the house naked!!! Haha no I don't think so!! Not til after lipotrim anyway!! I bet I put half a stone on next week before D day!! But I'm not worried cos I KNOW I'm going to do this this time!! I'm excited for the first time in a long time!
Dying to know how you have done in ur 1st week! (hope scales are fixed!)
Have you told friends and family?? I'm getting a lot of negative comments around me about it! Glad I've got this place,,,
