Hi All

I just wondered if someone can clarify for me.......

I read on here somewhere ( think!) that when in Cruise there is a limit on dairy - is this right?

i read through the book again and could see anythng about that in the cruise section?? Also im assuming'dairy' includes cottage cheese, qark, yogurts etc not just milk??

Thanks

x

yes thats right its limited to 1ltr per day skimmed milk is limited to 250ml per day then the rest can be made up of quark cottage cheese yoghurt etc etc, not sure if it is in the book or may be one of the rule changes that was implimented afterwards.

Thanks Ellie!

this is probable a really stupid question but how do you measure litres of dairy such as quark?? as thats all in grams on the pack....

thanks again
x

think a litre of dairy measures about a kilogramme :)

If I remember correctly from maths, 1cubic cm is 1 ml which is also 1g x

Ah ye olde language of "maths geek"... Sad to admit I once went to "advanced higher maths camp". I'm not proud x

You should be proud, maths was and is my fear..... even though I deal with counting every day lol

geek :p

im sure we are all geeky about something :D and im just jealous as at school i struggled with maths with my dyslexia... well i struggled with arithmetic and was good at maths but in those days you couldnt take maths as a subject if you could do arithmetic :(

Arithmetics I can do, but not maths, Ellie you've just taught me something else.....not only fab recipies, I've said before I'm a lover of google don't know how I lived without it so when you said you could do arithmetic an not maths I though "what's she mean?" So googled... I didn't know there was difference I thought it was the same. So another bit of new info in this old dogs head ;-)
