Step 1 Sole Source Day 1

I've just got back from my first CDC meeting!

I have got pretty much every flavour (except the ones I know I wouldn't like ie cappuccino Tom soup etc)

First shake made in my new shaker, chocolate, and happily I can say it wasn't bad! It was alright! :)

I'm excited although nervous! Lets hope it continues!!

I'm sure I won't be feeling so bonnie later!

I've been told to void exercising - but I'm a regular spinner, gymer and swimmer usually. I get not spinning or high intensity running. But surely after the two weeks I can go back to swimming and jogging?!

What's your experience with exercise?

Hi I am also doing my first day too already had apple and cinnamon porridge for Brekkie and having veg soup now for lunch not bad at all. Aiming for 100% today

The chocolate shake I thought was a safe bet for my first taste!
I'm gonna save my soups for work! So ill have another shake and a porridge today I think :)

How you finding the porridge? I got plain and apple flavoured! X

I swim, but to be honest that's only been in the last few months. The first few weeks I didn't have the energy, or when I did exercise I got hungry so ended up grazing :(

Now I swim 2 or 3 times a week, about 30 - 40 lengths at a time, and I still get peckish but I just try to make sure that I have a product handy when I come out. I do SS+ which has really helped with my energy levels x

Makes me feel better bc I do enjoy exercise. I think ill just stick to lower intensity stuff swimming and toning. Ill stop spinning and just do short 2mile runs.

And ill listen to my body if its too much ill stop! I won't do any for the first two weeks due to that being recommended.

She also said I could gain weight if I exercised but I don't get that :s

I think it's something to do with building muscle? Just do low intensity to start with and then listen to your body.....and make sure you have a bar or tetra in your bag for when you finish! X

I don't wanna build muscle but I do wanna tone I don't want to be skinny but flabby ;)

Ill just start with gentle stuff! X
 
Hi mizkirsty! I really recommend having shakes blended with crushed ice added, makes them go a really long way! I'd be lost if I didn't do that myself! Hope your first week is going well

I know it's only the first day but I've just sat and watched my friend eat panini and chips!

I had a very disgusting fruit tea!

I wasn't even that jealous! Wahoo!!

Can any recommend some nice fruit teas? X
 
Hmmm do not like the plain porridge I even added cinnamon which did make it edible. But couldn't finish it.

But I have another one :(
I know my CDC will switch it at next appt but will I be ok to miss a meal as such once this week? Xx
 
I add a couple of teaspoons of choc mint shake, or choc shake to porridge and it makes it quite nice :) and I make it with a bit more water than suggested on the sachet, still not my favourite but nice occasionally when I want a change from cappuccino shake and chicken and mushroom soup :)

I've also been told to blend it! I think it was the little lumpy bits that put me off! Xx
