Wow.. Feel really good this morning. Proud of myself I didn't get tempted with food yesterday. Saturday is usually a day of treats and comfort food. Made breakfast for family this morning and I can honestly say I wasn't bothered. My bin liner stomach must be shrinking!
When do you go into ketosis? Anyone know? I have a few sticks my CDC gave me but don't want to waste them if I don't go into K for a week.
Any thoughts please?

Ooh, I've been brave! I've just sat in McDonalds with my husband and children while they started to eat their lunch, so I nipped out to Boots and bought myself a gorgeous new nail polish! My son brought me out a cup of ice and I'm currently sipping my mint chic shake in it. I feel like I'm cheating but I'm not!

That is very brave. I think even the faint sniff of McDonald's fries would send me weak at the knees at the moment!
 
Wasn't too bad actually. I was in Debenhams the other day looking at all the lovely summer stuff knowing I'd have to buy a size I wasn't happy todo. It broke my heart, so McDonalds isn't a temptation at the mo - but ask me in a week!;)
 
im on day 4 yesterday day 3 was a bad day for me think i went into kesosis today thought becasue im really energetic and not at all hungry i feel great i think the first 3 days are the hardest especially day 3 well for me anyway..and well done you resisting temptation from mcdonalds ..

Sounds like you might already be in it if you not bothered by food. Good if you are as it makes it so much easier!!!

Thanks alib.. Yesterday was nasty. Hope I'm in Ketosis now. Sounds like I am as I've had 2 shakes, a SS+ meal (omelette, mushrooms and salad leaves) and don't really fancy another CD meal. Maybe I need to force it down, as I might need the nutrients. Still not 100% about this plan yet. Are you?
 
im on ss and yes it sounds like u are in kesosis now as many have said the same they cant eat as they aint hungry im on day 4 had a sneeky peek on the scales today and 7ib down so im looking forward to my 1st weigh in on tuesday.

yes think it gave me a boost as well knowing it is coming off but i do drink around 4 litres of water a day...

Me too.. I'm kind of enjoying it. My body is used to Diet Coke so it must be in shock at the moment! Do you think water is the key? I just hope this feeling lasts. I tried Slimming World before, rejoined around 3 times just this year! I hope CD shifts my weight so i can be back to the me i'm happy with.
 
yes the water is the main part of this diet the more you drink the higher ur loss minimum u can drink is 2 litres u got to make sure ur drinking at least that but im drinking almost 4 litres a day now so thats probably the huge weight loss i think maybe 10ib 11ib ill lose by my first weighing its only been 4 days and already 7ib so its looking posotive.

Good for you. I think I'll follow your lead. I'd adore an 11lb loss! Maybe I can finally ditch these 'one and only pair of jeans i can fit into!'
 
yes you definetely get a bigger loss with more water i have 5 stone to lose i started 4 days ago i was 15st 7ib got to get down to 10st after looking through this place and seeing pictures and stories its really helped.:)
 
I want to lose 4 and a half stone to get to 10st too. I'll have a looky at some pics and stories too.
 
You can all do it - just get through this week and it really gets easier - normally a big loss in that first week helps to keep you focused. I found coming on here really useful at the beginning - helps to take your mind off not being able to eat.;)

I think this site is great. Everyone seems so supportive...I really appreciate it. It seems such a long time to wait to see/feel a result. You've done amazingly well!
