Day 5

So, I've been doing this for 5 days now, I've lost 12lbs already!!! Which I'm so pleased with... However I have a few questions:

1. Yesterday I only had 2 meal replacements I forgot to have my 3rd... how can this change things?

2. When did people start to see their belt line shrink?

3. I have a cold/flu symptoms is this part of the diet?

4. This is my first weekend on the diet, I usually have 2 or 3 takeaways over the weekend. Any tips on how to get through it?

5. I'm going to Tesco at lunch what water based drinks can I get?

Blimey - 12lb! That's amazing! I've done Atkins before, and LL, both of which put you into ketosis and they say you can have 'Atkins flu' after a few days as your body gets used to burning fat stores for energy. So it's probably normal. Coke Zero is supposed to be okay to drink as it has no citric acid. Nice treat for the weekend?! We just have to be really strong and think ahead rather than being envious of people stuffing themselves with food. I got some of the water flavourings and they help fill you up a bit - or so it seems!
