Diary for motivation!

Hi

I've started this food diary in the hope of mantaining my motivation and keeping me on the straight and narrow. My idea is that if I have to write all my food down daily, I will not be reaching for the odd wagon wheel here and there as I will have to write it all down and there will be actual evidence and I won't be able to ignore it.

I'm doing Slimming World extra easy at home and it took a while to get my head around in fact im still learning but im getting better each day.

So today these are my aims and planned meals:

Breakfast: 35g (see still learning I now know it should be 28g! Could anyone tell me if the extra 7g adds to my syns?) of Jordan's Natual gluten free cereal and berries HEB
Lunch:Seafood Salad
Dinner: Chicken (no skin) with sw chips and peas
snacks: carrot and cucumber sticks, green beans

Also going to do some housework and then walk the dog for an hour to stretch my legs!

So today was a bit hectic seeing as i'm moving house get the keys Saturday!! I feel I was quite good today and I even tried vegetarian sausages which i was a bit dubious about but they were lovely, so today went like this:

Brunch: 2 vegetarian sausages, fried egg (fry light) and beans (4syns)
Snack: leftover chicken
Dinner: spaghetti bolognese with cheese as a Hex A
total syns: 4

Tried to drink loads of water today too as i usually struggle with that, enjoyed that breakfast alot today so might have that for lunch and porridge or fresh fruit t start the day again need something to keep me going through all the packing.

Only new here not sure how it works. I don't know how your diet works I'm doing weight watchers hoping to lose 2 stone!! It seems easy enough(well we will see what the scales says on wi) Anyway good luck I'm just having a look round the site to see how everybody is doing.

Hi I chose slimming world extra easy as it doesn't feel like a diet :) which i need otherwise i'd never start! Good luck with your weight loss it's brilliant on here for support and loads of recipes x

Well after a month I finally have internet back!! My weight loss journey has been at least to say interesting. I put every thing back on and reached a real low point where NONE of my clothes fitted. Cue a very embarrassing couple of days at work where I tried to get away with black stretchy elasticated trousers. However, I have now nearly reached my mini target of 9st 5lbs. Although I have put a pound on this money and I have no idea why! I have been amazingly good with both exercise and food. I reached a plateau for a while but powered on through thinking about that low point which has become my inspiration to caryy on no matter what! I've also gained more confidence since slimming down a bit. So today's food intake so far has been:

Apple
Hartley's low cal jelly 1/2
SW lasagna
Carrot sticks
and what ever I decide for dinner! So all in all a good day!

Oh dear after reading back through that I'm disappointed with myself! Back to where I basically started, oh well back to the drawing board:

Banana
28g porridge HEB
Soup
ham salad
prawns wih soy sauce and garlic

Today did not go well! However I have stayed on track:

Banana
28g porridge HEB
Orange
Prawns, veg and noodles in black bean sauce

Does anyone know the syn value for asda chosen by you black bean sauce? I've looked it up and the highest jar was 18.5 syns so i'm counting my total syn value as 10 to be on the safe side!

Soooo much work to do! definitely going to be up all night! I was proud of myself today and totally avoided the biscuit tin even though it was right in front of me and I had a cup of tea! They were maryland cookies too! I think its the thought of missing out as other people are eating them that is quite hard. I just have to remind myself i'll be happier in the long run if i forego a biscuit plus i'm not really allowed them with my lactose intolerance which has started causing me hair loss so BIG motivation there hence why I am back on here...anyway so today:

2 bananas
28g porridge HEB
Prawns and veg with noodles in black bean sauce 10 syns
ham and salad
