I get chickem breast fillets fron my butchers and the marinate them in chinese or tandoori etc. Do i have to syn this ? It is just a powder that they dip the chicken into

Depends what's in the powder. if it's just spices/salt it should be OK, but if it's got any sugar/honey/anything synnable in then you'd have to count it. Lots of spice mixes do have sugar in.
