For so long I have wanted to start a diary on minimins. I just suppose this is very personal. Standing up and saying I have a problem with overeating. I had a bit of a lightbulb moment earlier today when I was sitting downstairs, gorging myself on skips and penguin bars and realised I had finished multipacks!! :mad:

So here it is!

Hi I'm tatabubbly! I'm 23, currently living in the republic of Ireland with my dog and my wonderful OH. I did start the slimming world journey around febuary but have had a major fall of the wagon, hence starting this diary will help me to keep track of my eating and why as well as any body magic I have to do!

Starting stats are : 176lbs, 5 ft 4 inches..

Would love to get to 154lbs as I feel this was the weight when I was happiest in life.

I tend to be an emotional eater. Everything is a fad to me. I'll put weight on, loose it...

My mother in law to be has stuck with SW since febuary and I see a huge difference in her weight wise, she's in much better health as well. I'd love to be able to help her on her journey and begin as a healthy happy me! :D

I have a mini goal set for myself as I want to be 165lbs before I leave Ireland for Canada which is in August 28th. It's not an impossible task but a goal none the same.

So I hope some of you will join me and spur me on, I can't have any excuses this time round! :wave_cry:
 
All is well this morning with my new start.
Had some porriage (hexb) and blueberries i found in the freezer and tea with low fat milk (hexa). i love my tea but i think i'm going to cut down as its not kind to my kidneys. had 1syn in honey for porriage, trying to use up the bottle i have in the house

Its funny how much renewed strength you can get from starting again! at least this time i know where my downfalls are!

Lunch will be petit poits and a mugshot at work with some carrot bites. (hopefully!)
 
So for my first day back on the plan i've done good!!

didn't get my carrot sticks but got my banana and a few grapes in there instead!

just waiting on my fish and sw chips. i'm so hungry i ate my superfree which was suppose to be with it, roasted tomatoes and mushrooms!! lol

Gonna have a small portion of mushy peas as well, really push the boat out!!
 
Congratulations on a great start with your food. How are those SW chips? I haven't made those yet.

I'm also an emotional eater, and also a boredom eater, so trying not to snack when I'm bored is my biggest challenge!
 
Hey! Ok my SW chips weren't the best as i made them far too chunky! they are best if you par boil them for a good bit first.

As an emotional eater, i think the main thing is to just break the habit. Mine are emotional/boredom.. So i'm going to try and write things in my diary even if they aren't really relevent..

Atm, money is my main concern, i've been preoccupied with it and SW is expensive!
 
Hey everyone!

Had the most awesome weekend at the work ball..... soo many syns but it definitely was a one time thing! It was a set menu so unfortunatly we couldn't decide any of our meals!!

So after dying of a hangover yesterday I'm back to my good old self today!!
Quite proud as yesterday seemed to consist of one pasta n sauce and a 1.25lt diet coke!!

Had a lovely brekkie this morning of wholemeal toast, fried tomatoes and baked beans! Yum!!

On another note, I finally paid off a few huge bills this weekend which we're getting to me and my OH!
Onwards and Upwards I say!
 
So had my "special rice" which consisted of mushrooms, peppers, onions chickpeas and garlic with an oxo cube in rice! So syn free for a lovely lunch!

Taking a wee cereal bar with me for my syns for later, moving house business today which can be a wee bit stressful. Suppose to move out in a month but the house I'm moving to needs serious work so going to see if I can get some done today!
 
Having my dinner really late today, quorn peppered steak, potatoes and carrots and peas.

Grabbed a banana earlier to increase my SF.

Also had a slice of swiss roll which was I'd say about 6 syns, I can't find a syn value online and I had an asda lighter bar which was 3 and half syns so not too bad today!

Weigh in tomorrow.. to be honest, I would say I've lost nothing but it's nice to ease myself into the plan again!

Just wanted to say I loved reading your updates, I signed up to minimins today and I've been following slimming world for a week now though I never took a starting weight and actually weighed myself for the first time today. I hope you don't mind me following you, I feel I need the help with deciding what to eat.

Jayne, jump on board for the ride! The more the merrier as it will help keep me motivated.

I'm not a vegetarian but everytime I eat quorn, its a different taste!

Well I have the house spotless and I have homemade soup and a turkey breast in the fridge to defrost for tomoro.. I'm thinking, stir fry tomoro night? I think I have a sauce hidden in the back of the cupboard that I should use up which should be low in syns.

I'm so full up right now on carrots and peas, it's driven all thoughts of an evening snack right away!
 
So I sts this week! Not really that surprized due to the level of wine consumption at the weekend.. However today is a new day so lets go!!

For brekkie HexB _ two light cereal bars

Snack - two bananas

Lunch - an apple! :eek:

Snack at home now - 5 cherry tomatoes and a cup tea with my HexA milk...

Was super super busy today.. Making a stir fry tonight so plenty of veg. Might syn the sauce, I need to see what I can pull out of the back of the cupboard! :p
 
So had a lovely syned sauce with my dinner. 56 kcals so just under 3 syns.. Followed by a large bit of pineapple. I'm still a bit peckish (cos I didn't eat earlier :rolleyes: ) I had a lighter cereal bar (3 syns) and three slices of wheaten bread (9 syns) and a small amount of cheese which I'm going to count as the rest of my HexA cos I didn't have much milk earlier!


So I'd say I am definitely at my syns for the day which I'm counting as 16.5 syns just in case!
I don't mind being flexible for the last 1.5 syns!


Feeling very down today after work, I've been overcome with a feeling of loneliness. I think as a girl when you get to a certain age it's really really hard to make friends. Coupled with a lack of money isn't really helping!
Must hop into the shower and then to bed. I want an early night, if I need a snack I shall be eating the frozen strawberries out of the fridge! :eek:
 
aww you doing really well, i'd love to know exactly what your eating hun so I can keep ideas in my head :) x Head up at work, I find it takes me a while to make friends as I'm naturally shy at first and as soon as the ice is broken I'm good to go. Big hugs :) x
