Because it has absolutely no real nutritional value whatsoever.
With something like that you can use the basic calculation of 20 calories per syn.

yep no real nutritional value really and donuts are fried in oil before dipped in sugar.
Even worse if they have chocolate coatings. Don't be ashamed these things happen. You are after all able to have anything you want on the plan. I went to a fair last week and somebody bought donuts. Just the smell of them made me want want but thought twice. Looked at the grease coming through on the bag and decided not to. To look at the fat content in one just pop it in the microwave for a few mins and take a look!!!
