Eating out

Im going out to Newcastle on the 26th to see Mr Ronan Keating :drool:and I'll be on the sherberts and I dont want to be lead astray on the food front. We will probably be having something to eat first so...how easy is it to finds things to eat in pubs that do the usual, potato skins, burgers etc?
What do you eat when you go out?
I know ill end up at the kebab shop on the way back though!

Vicky if your going to newcastle upon tyne then that is myhome town!!
there are take aways not too far from the central station and they do REALLLYYY nice kebabs n burgers! There is a place called Kebabish and they do a nice chicken steak or a roasted baby chicken! AVOIDE the place to eat at queyside! mostly indian and italian places!! full of carbs! If you get stuck there is an Iranian place called ali baba or somthing near the pizza hut on grey street also near central station and they do really nice kebabs.. chicken and lamb just dont order any rice!!

It is - im only about 1/2 hour from there!
