So I signed up this morning I want to loose my baby weight. So hey ho here goes, I'm trying to get my head around the EE so this was my first day.

Breakfast:

2 Wheetabix - HEb
Semi-Skimmed Milk - HEa (took the rest to work for cuppa during the day with sweetener)
Banana

Lunch:

Mug Shot - Spicy one (FREE?)
Two big handfuls of grapes
One big Orange

Dinner: ..Oops ... It was my husbands 40th at the Carvery but this being said I had ...

Turkey
Lots of peas and carrots
smallish(well smallest they do!) yorkshire
2 potatos
Diet coke

Resisted the brownie sundae .. :D

Snacks:

Muller lite Cherry (FREE)
Babybel - 3 1/2 Syns

The Toby I have no idea so I'm gonna say what 15 sync for the day and then start again tomorrow being a bit better ?

Hi there and welcome!

I tend to stick to red and green days but I know the theory of EE and this looks fine - except if you were still trying to do EE even with the dinner out I don't think there's enough superfree in it for EE as peas are not superfree just free :) Just thought I;d point that out in case you didn't know, feel free to tell me to butt out :D

Well done on a good start, keep it up! :)

Okay, Brill thanks. This forum is excellent so much support and good ideas. I can see me using this frequently.

I did think that it might not been enough I'm finding I quite like fruit but I seem to be lacking in the veggie department. I think I might have a go back with the red/green days until I get the hang of it as that looks like it might be a bit easier to contend with.:)

So as I had a lot of fruit today I might see how it looks on a green day then.. I think I get 2 HE if I go with green/red rather than EE don't I ?

Yeah, 2 of each, A & B. That's one of the reasons I do green and red days instead, plus I never eat enough Superfree for EE. I'm far too fussy and don't like enough veg!

Today I have had a better day ... :) RED

Breakfast:

1/2 a melon and a banana (was in a rush this morning so grabbed sliced melon pack from M&S)

Lunch:

Chicken Mug Shot
2 Large handfuls of grapes
2 Babybel (HEA) more as a snack really
Milk for tea with sweetener during the day (HEA)

Dinner:

Grilled chicken breast - no fat, no skin :p
Lots of Broccili, carrots and peas
I needed to eat some sins so I have had 7 on the Asda pots with chicken and bacon and had half the pack with my hubby(didn't finish this)

I need to add some HEB .. so might have some toast later before bed time ??

Did you syn the mugshot? I know that lots are free on EE and green but Syns on red as they contain noodles/pasta don't they? I don't eat them so not 100% sure but thought I'd just mention it.

I did think that but when I searched under sync on the online calculator it told me it was free ! Nice ! so I've saved on some syns there then.

We are going out for dinner for my brother's birthday tomorrow(then thankfully no more birthdays until September) so I think I'll do an EE day tomorrow because wherever he chooses to go I can get large salad no dressing and lots of steamed veggies with some grilled chicken.

How do you do EE with breakfast ? I have a fridge full of fruit but how much is 1/3 compared with a couple of wheetabix

Are you sure you entered the info correctly on the syn calc? The first post inthis thread has the syn values for mug shots (over a year old, so probably a little different but can't see them being free on Red) and says the following:

Pasta Varieties
Chicken 'n' Mushroom, dried 66g sachet - 2 syns on green/EE, 14 syns on red
Roast Chicken, dried 55g sachet - free on green/EE, 10 syns on red

Noodle varieties
Chicken, dried 54g sachet - free on green/EE, 11.5 syns on red

Cous Cous varieties
Chicken & Mushroom, dried 70g sachet - 2 syns on green/EE, 13.5 syns on red

I'd have a check. They are definitely synned on a red day.

As for breakfast, if it was me, I'd just have an apple or a banana... just one of something. That's what most people here tend to do from what I've read.

To be honest, it doesn't matter TOO much about superfree there because it wouldn't really make you eat any less of the weetabix and that's kind of the point of 1/3 superfree to limit your intake of the other foods because you're fuller off the superfree.
