After seeing so many weight loss diaries on here, I thought I would start my own! Seems therputic in a way :) Well, I started CWP on Thursday - 23rd Feb. So am currently on day 5!

A bit of background info: I'm 18, weighed 17 stone 2.6lbs (On Thursday) and am 5 ft 7. My weight went outa control! I ate out of boredom. Out of comfort. Pretty much all the time! Didn't realise I got this big - it was a real shocker. So decided to do something about it! Haven't told anyone except my mum about doing CWP. So a lot of people will be in for a surprise when the pounds drop off xD - That is my motivator. Seeing family and friends in awe of my weight loss lol.
Anyway, sorry to go on. Back to point, I'm on SS! But my CDC said I could switch to SS+ if i have a bad day. But so far I've SS'd it. Though.. On day 2 I was so hungry that I had a couple of tiny strips of chicken! (not too bad, hey?) :p

.. Day 5: How has it been so far? Tough! Kudos to those who have stuck it out for months on end!! It's not that i am hungry or anything. I just miss the chewing! I was a big foodie (hence my weight gain lol) so still getting my head round not eating solids! I'm hanging in there though! Had nearly all flavours of packs. I only like Mushroom + Vegetable soup (got a few more to try) and only banana and chocolate shake!! The other shakes are disgusting! And I have a stinking cold now which makes me wanna comfort eat! But I am fighting the temptation!
Anyway, that's all for now! Gonna have my first shake of the day and some water!! Roll on Wednesday weigh-in! Hopefully it's a good number!!
 
Day 6: Going well so far. Not really craving food so that helps!!! Weigh in tomorrow! Quite nervous about it! I hope I pull a decent number!!!
In a happy mood because ALREADY people have asked me if I am losing weight! I love it!! I can't see a difference at all, to be honest. Nonetheless, it's really motivating me to lose this weight!
Going on holiday this July so that also makes me wanna stick to this diet because I need a decent beach body :p Here's hoping...

1 shake and 1 soup to go! And drank about 2L's so far. 1 more should do it!
 
Day 7: Weigh day! Lost 7 lbs ! Kind of chuffed. But I wanted a little more! (I know, I'm being stupid!) ..Flavoured packs I bought were mushroom and vegetable soups, banana tetras, and banana shakes. That is all I like so I hope I don't get bored with that!
Are we allowed to chew sugar free chewing gum? I find it helps me when I'm craving bad foods!
Hope this week is as good as last week!

Congratulations on your weight loss - what a great result! :clap: I'm just a couple of days ahead of you and have found that I have the energy to stay up late at night and get up early for work and that the diet gets easier. On the hard scale, today was my easiest day.

What a bummer that you don't like most of the shakes! I hated the butterscotch, thought most of the others were OK to choke down and really like the chocolate mint and vanilla. I've doctored the plain porridge with cinnamon - the consistency is still not great, but the taste is much better! As for the soups, I hated the chicken&mush soup the first time and thought it was ok the 2nd time. In some way they all taste the same, but they're warm and break up the monotony of shakes.

Next week I get to try the bars - I'm looking forward to having something to chew! When I really need that, I eat celery. And as I workout almost daily, I also have an egg or a small piece of chicken for the protein.

As for chewing gum, sugar free or not, my CDC advised against it (she said something like the chewing would make me hungrier). Instead I have little mint strips to deal with the funny taste in my mouth due to ketosis.
