Excersise

I! I seem to be excersise mad recently! In the past two months I have lost some inches on my waist an hips, but the weight loss has been non existent until last week!

Anyway I'm starting to get back problems, like a shooting pain coming from my lower back and shooting up, it makes breathing in and out hurt and last 3 -5 mins at a time, most days but not everyday! So I have seen a doctor and just been told to rest!

So what excersise shouldn't I do?
Currently I mix up running/cycling outdoors, cross trainer, rowing,

And also I recently started the Julian micheals 30 day shred DVD!

How old are your trainers ? Lower back problems can start from the position of your feet. The other thing to watch is your posture, you should maintain the forward curve of your lumbar pine at all times. I would leave the rowing off for a while or at least get one of the trainers to check your technique.

Well I roll my feet inwards when I walk and run! So I have seen a physio and I have some special insoles made to put in my shoes and some other for my trainers( which are Nike running trainers that I purchased in August) but I never thought back issues could come from my feet!

I'll have a read into it! Cheers

I think my rowing technique is fine, I was getting problems with my shins at first so asked a trainer and it was the set up, so they went through it with me!

If it is my feet causing it, it would be from running I assume, I normally do road running, training for a half marathon but currently can't seem to get past the 6 mile mental block I have! In the gym I can run over 10 miles, but outdoors I struggle with breathing! It is just hard to adjust but I'm sure I'll get there
