Is there a sticky or sub forum for this? I can't seem to see one so I'm posting here.

What do people do, and for how long? How does it affect your weight loss?

I am already active - I'm on my feet most of the day at work and exercise for about 3 hours a week in winter - more in summer. I get two weeks off over Xmas so was going to try and run everyday (by run I mean a slow jog lol).
 
Try the couch to 5k app from nhs it's brill! I've done it before and gave up starting again over Xmas on mum and dads treadmill then will continue on the streets when I come back home
 
I go to a personal trainer once a week, for cardio, stretching and balance exercises. He has worked out an exercise plan for me to do at home between sessions. I walk as often as I can.

No idea whether it affects weight loss because I have done the same thing for years. Anyway it's not the reason I do it.

Thanks - I will look for this! I can jog very slowly for 15-20 mins - 5Km would be a good aim.
