Hiya all, well its the start of my 1st day n had my 1st shake dun 30 mins of zumba and im feelin great and in good spirits, i knw this may not last but im focused on being focused lol!!!! Back to gym tonite after a week off its gunna hurt!!!! Bit nervous bout goin to gym with nt much fule, can any1 else give me any advice or reassurance i would be most greatful!!!! Hope evry1 else is doing well x
Hi Kat, love your headline!!! Just take it easy at the gym. You should be ok if it's only the first few days as you should still have carb fuel on board (so to speak).
Hi Kat, thanks. Not going to lie to you I have had difficult times but the results are so worth it I was encouraged to keep going. I am not one of the lucky ones who experienced less hunger over time. I find weekends especially difficult mainly because my weekends have so often been dedicated to wine and takeaways as my 'reward' for a hard weeks work. It helps to give yourself a 'mini goal' for the weekend so I weigh in on a Friday and then have a 1-2pound goal for Monday just to give myself an extra push to get through it. Unfortunately the social life suffers but I decided that I wanted the weight off more than the night out. When I was heavier I was usually miserable when I saw the photos as I was always the 'fat one' in the group. The minimins forum is great for support. The weird thing is, now after the Christmas bloat, I am really looking forward to feeling hungry again as I felt I had so much more energy. I am swimming lots too (5-6 times a week) and it has helped with toning.
Welldone im very inspired now, im gettin married in august and want to feel fab and confident about how i look!!!! I like u r sick of looking at pics n then cringing coz i look so big :'( its really gettin me dwn!!! I Dnt wana cringe looking at my wedding pics!!! I need all the help n support i can get my partner is naturaly slim n eats what he wants (that dnt help) i only have to luk at a cake n i put 5lb on lol!!!! Thanks 4 the post u have cheered me up
