favourite flavouring

I have a lot of dukan flavourings - imo they are great to flavour muffins, yoghurt etc but I only have mainly nut flavours and fruit ones, (no savoury). Im not that keen on the fruit ones either.
My favs are in order coconut, mocha, nougat & caramel. Im lucky as a friend that did dukan for awhile and then stopped kindly gave me about 6 bottles so I have quite a stock in :D Im desperate for a dukan peanut but they dont do this flavour :sigh:

What are your favs? Do you just use them for flavouring yoghurt & muffins?

Anyone - peanut?

I refuse to order the Dukan flavourings even tho they sound great, for some reason they have chosen what seems to be the most expensive delivery service to the continent and it is quite an outrageous amount! Luckily I've found a local company and the ingredients are comparable, no sugar or -ose of any kind and no alcohol. So far my favourites are butterscotch and pistachio. But if Dukan were to come up with a peanut butter flavour I might even pay the ridiculous shipping to get some!

I wouldnt buy if I wasnt in UK - I wait until I need a few then buy together using my Ebay profits from selling my too big clothes :)

I really want to try cheese even though I know others don't like it. Muffins have been awful recently, too much sweetener I think! Sour and minging! Hate nut flavoured things so no help with that Chris! I've been naughty and if I ever use flavourings I use supermarket ones, I reckoned using 1 drip wouldn't do too much! X

Ive used supermarket ones at the start of doing dukan but tbh didnt taste of much - with dukan flavourings you only need a little squirt to get a good result so the bottle lasts for ages.

Keep meaning to order a few! Cheese plus something else! Thinking of doing a wee online shop ro stock up on allowed treats! X

Chris you read my mind - I was just thinking of posting a thrad about flavours just last night, after scouring the forum for posted opinions to see which were worth ordering, it seems a bit hit and miss

Some love the fruit, some hate it (no real inbetweens) same with nut one and the cheese got bad press too :(....hard to know what to order when they're so expensive and wouldn't want to order something awful....shame they don't do sample sizes :) x

Organise a swap deal if a few of us try some?! Haha or write it off as experience!

love the passion fruit, caramel, apple crumble, nougat
like the hazelnut

defo want to try the mocha & coconut :D

Im not keen on the fruit ones because to me they taste synthetic but I do use them I have blackcurrant and cherry both OKish - love the ones mentioned before wouldnt mind trying the vanilla too - just had some 0% yog, sweetner and caramel. Caramel muffins are gorg

caramel muffins with caramel icing.... nom nom nom :D

ellie if the passion fruit ones taste anything like passoa then i'll have to invest!

I have cheese and I did then buy goat's cheese too - they are quite nice in Dukan bread.

Been on Dukan website for flavourings....OMG they are expensive. I was interested in the mocha and the hazelnut ones and possibly the cheese, so you Dukenettes anyone know of supermarket alternatives ????

Well we have had a lot of debate over time on this site over what flavourings etc are allowed, looking for ones with no sugar, oil or alcohol, so I was interested to read the Good Doc's guidelines on them this morning - suggesting that they're ok to contain sugar, and when you look on the shop site at the dukan ones they contain oil and alcohol, so maybe we have been wasting our time trying to find the perfect flavouring without any added nasties?

they might seem expensive but u only need 4 tiny drops to flavour a yoghurt and around 5ml for a batch of muffins so they last absolutely ages

M-Mouse sounds like it if his has oils etc, then what is the difference !
