This is possibly my 500th diary on minis but this one i intend to stick with. I spent the last few months doing Cambridge diet and I managed to lose nearly 7st on it. Since I came off it and started eating RUBBISH for a few weeks the weight has been PILING back on, not creeping, PILING! So I tried slimming world, got to day 5 and I had put EVEN MORE weight on. So I took a break from things, had a think about what I want to do, where I am in my life and decided to start Weight Watchers yesterday. I am loving it so far and enjoying eating lovely food and feeling, dare-i-say-it, HAPPY!
A little bit about me: Im 29 and I live near Manchester with my husband and 18 month old daughter. She has been a big reason for me to lose weight and stick with it. At the start of my journey, my heaviest weight I was 25 stone. I am now 19st 8lbs on my weight watchers group scales so I have managed to lose 5st 6lbs since I started my weight loss, and life changing, journey. I would love to be a healthy BMI but I am concentrating on my mini goals for now. My first is to lose 5%, so I need to get to 18st 7.2lbs. I am looking forward to achieving my goals and doing it healthily instead of the quick fix Cambridge diet I was using which has actually really messed my body up and made my relationship with food even worse than it was before. More about that in a later post im sure.
I am doing simple start so no points to count as yet. x
