First time newbie :)

Hi all,

Decided to join here to try something new to see if it helps :)

I'm a student and have never been happy with my weight, always try and diet but only lasts about a month at a time. Being a student means I can't often afford healthy food so I joined the gym as of last monday. Without any real changes to my eating habits other than not over-indulging I managed to shift 4lbs from 3days at the gym!

I know I won't be close to losing that every week by exercise alone, any advice on cheap healthy food is welcome lol.

So basically joined here to maybe get some support/advice/hear some success stories as motivation.

Hi there. Maybe have a look at the weight watchers or slimming world forums and see what foods are healthier and follow them. A lot of the other diets such as total food replacements cost about £40 a week on average, which depending on your budget may work out the same as your weekly shop & beer allowance. I know it certainly does for me.
