Flavoured Diet Coke Chicken??

Hi guys,

I think I'm going to try the diet coke chicken tonight that i've seen on here but I only have diet coke flavoured with citrus or flavoured with cherry. Do you think it will still work??

Ive never used other flavours do not sure. I just stick to plain diet coke. I have also used fanta to make a sweet an sour chicken
