Flossy's Slimming World diary - Nearly 8 stone down!

Hi all,

I have lost nearly 8 stone through my own healthy eating since Feb 2013. I joined SW on 5th Jan 2015 in order to lose my last remaining 11lb to get to target.

Current weight: 9st 7 1/2 lb
Goal weight: 8st 10lb

I am creating this food diary so that people can help me and tell me where I'm going right or wrong! I have followed the plan religiously since starting but only lost 1.5lb in my first week. My consultant said my food diary was excellent and the scales did not reflect it enough.

Hopefully I can get to target soon. Thanks for reading! :) x
 
Thursday 15th January

Breakfast - Skimmed milk (hex a) and 35g Choco Shreddies (hex b) with a handful of cherries.

Dinner - Bernard Matthews bbq turkey (free) with lettuce, pickled red cabbage and pickled onions. Apple.

Tea - SW recipe chicken tikka masala (free) and 70g brown rice.

Syns - Mango chutney (2 1/2 syns) and Options mint hot chocolate (1 1/2 syn) = 4 syns.
 
Friday

Breakfast - 35g oats (hex b) with a banana and toffee mullerlight.

Dinner - Blackberries, strawberries, grapes and blueberries with a strawberry mullerlight and an apple.

Tea - Cajun chicken pasta bake with 40g low fat cheese (hex a).

Syns - Lindt melting moment 5 syns.
 
Saturday

Breakfast - 40g all bran (hex b) with skimmed milk (hex a).

Dinner - strawberries, banana, blueberries with a banana and custard mullerlight.

Tea - Nando's butterfly chicken (3 Syns), Nando's spicy rice (2 Syns) with salad.

Syns - Boots shapers strawberry nougat bar (4 Syns) = total 9 syns.
 
Subscribing! Can I ask, why did you choose to start SW when you lost an incredible amount by yourself?!

Thank you! As I get closer to my target the weight loss has slowed down so I thought I would give SW a go to boost things again! I lost 1 1/2 stones in 2014 (gives you an idea of how much it slowed down!) although that was on and off plan at times as I have learnt to enjoy myself in moderation now :)
 
Sunday

Breakfast - Hifi rocky road bar (part hex b) and a bowl of strawberries, cherries and blueberries.

Dinner - Batchelors low fat Thai noodles and corn on the cob. Tangerine.

Tea - SW bacon and mushroom crustless quiche with 40g low fat cheese (hex a) with butternut squash chips and salad.

Hifi rocky road bar (other part hex b)

Syns: Options strawberry hot chocolate = 2 syns.

Weigh in tomorrow evening eek.
 
Monday

Breakfast - toffee muller light, 35g porridge oats (hex b) and banana

Dinner - jacket potato (cooked in fry light) with broccoli and an apple.

Tea - cod with tinned tomatoes,sweetcorn, Italian herbs, wholemeal pasta and 40g low fat cheese (hex a). Cherries for after!

No syns.

I lost 1lb at WI.
 
Tuesday

Breakfast - 40g all bran (hex b) with skimmed milk (hex a) and strawberries and blueberries.

Dinner - wholemeal pasta with red pesto, broccoli and sweetcorn. Tangerine x2.

Tea - fajita chicken (seasoning is free) red and yellow peppers, onions and butternut squash chips.

Syns - red pesto 2 syns, options hot chocolate 2 syns = 4 syns total.

I've been on plan all week, although I had a car crash on Wednesday and used around 11 Syns on chocolate!

Friday

Breakfast - grapenuts (hex b), tesco free from coconut chocolate milk (250ml hex a) with raspberries and banana.

Dinner - strawberry muller light poured over strawberries, raspberries, grapes and blueberries.

Tea - SW chicken kiev with butternut squash chips and salad.

Syns - Paxo breadcrumbs (4.5) and 35g tub of Philadelphia lightest (1.5) = 6 Syns.
