Food values

I'm having a meeting in Starbucks this morning, and I've always had the toasted fruit bread here do I thought I'd check what it's values were

84g carbs and nearly 500cals!

As a snack not even a meal! I always thought this was the healthy version! And thats not even including what ever coffee id have! Think it just shows that we'll need to be checking food values for quite a while after we go off plan.

Thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where we could post our previous foods and their shock values, might help us to learn healthy eating for going back on to normal foods

I think everything we consumed before was ludicrously over our expectations. I had no idea how much was in a McDonald's milkshake... 490 cals and 87 carbs.

More than 1000 cals in a KFC fully loaded meal...
 
Hee Hee! It is terrible isn't it? Even when I thought I was being good and had a Chicago town pizza slice, 1/4 of a half of the pizza with about 10 chips, while OH had the rest..... That 1/4 slice is about 400+cals....
Off the subject
It annoys me though, was watching Super Fatvs Super Skinny on C4 and the Super skinny always puts on about 7lbs MAX, I think it is a very bad representation as these people are obviously naturally slim and they eat more calories than I do when I am not even on a VLCD! :rolleyes:
 
Wow those cals are so high, bloody advertising making it all scrumptious!
