Freezer Food

Can i freeze cottage cheese........ want to buy loads so can have it there ready for SW quiche - a fast food favourite here

No Natalie you cant freeze it, something to do with not having enough fat in it, but it does last in the fridge for about a month,just look at the back of the shelves and get the freshest ones with the longest sell buy date, I just love the quiche too.

Just had a look and there are some yummy ideas in there for quiche, and they seem really simple to do. I've never done quiche, but will definitely be giving them a try. Thanks again.

I know someone that freezes cottage cheese.....and shes still alive!!! lol
I have frozen SW quiche before, wasn't too bad though not as nice as fresh but then I think that about a lot of frozen foods!!

the sell by date is always a couple of weeks sometimes longer ... i love sw quiche i wish corn beef was free i used to love a quiche with that in x

Princes lean corned beef is only 2 syns per 100g (half tin). Quite good in my opinion.....and well worth it!

I like the princes lean corned beef. Have 3 syns worth in the fridge - red day tomoz so will be having corned beef and bacon quiche - 3 syns is very low for the amount of food you get!
