Yayy!!!

Just wanted to post that this Friday I'm off into our little town with mine an other halfs kids to see the lights turned on :) then Saturday we have no children so we are going to go up Birmingham for the german Market :) just us! I don't inten to be on plan as I didn't go last year as I was living in Essex! It's mine and other halfs first Xmas so we gonna drink beer have bratwurst and some fried cheese and try on crazy woolen hats!!!! Feels like a date :) I can't wait!!!! Am so in love with him!!! Together 7 months today <3 and on Xmas day it's 8 months :)

I can't contain my excitement! We might be poor and can't afford Xmas pressys really or to pay rent this month... But u don't need money for happyness love or the smiles and giggles from your children :) or the little looks the other half gives u when he looks across the room at you and u catch him :) little moments have no price!

Yey for Xmas :) house of few gifts this yr but full of love and giggles and the pottering of the boys running about :)
 
Thanks :) I can't wait! Was dreading this Xmas as I gave up work sept to move areas to be back with family move in with new partner and leave behind a nasty ex.. But just took a moment to reflect on what will be doing :) and I can't wait. I think by having very few pennies if any gives us chance to appriciate each other :) and our children :) <3 am a happy loved up girly today
 
oooooh make sure you have a mug of Gluewein -purely to keep you warm of course ;)
Im planning on dragging hubby to one as it will be our last year out here :cry:....

We will be coming back to the UK sometime next year :sigh:
Gluewein -is like our "mulled wine" -lovely n warming to wrap your hands around-but wow is it nicer... very sweet though and I can't mamage a full one... definitely great for warming you up..

I used to live in Germany and would go to the Christmas market for Gluhwein everyday - no wonder I got a bit fat! It's basically mulled wine Leanne. It's amazing :)

You are so right about smiles and things meaning more than pressies, my OH got a thing today about his pension rights and joked that he didnt want me to see the letter cos I would know how much he was worth dead. Told him it could be millions and he is still worth more to me alive-no matter how much he winds me up LOL

Our little 'town' has our christmas lights turn on on saturday, my daughters' school choir are singing there and she has a solo-am taking loads of tissues !!

Ellebear we goin sat evening! Look for a red head in a big thick pink n purple like woolen coat and White scarf where the booze is at lol that be me!!!!!! Hahahahahaha

Takes me back - even a cynical old b*gger like me lol.

My 9+ year relationship ended this year (no big bust up etc. - just run its course) we still chat and fondly remember them days.

Lol - Ive no doubt you'll be falling in snow, doing snow angels, getting frozen and laughing your heads off - if not, then why not?

Oh and one of our maddest and yet finest moments was the visit to Koblenz and Trier for a taste of the real German Christmas Markets. Gluhwein, giant pretzels, Strudel, Cinammon biscuits, giant wursts, etc.

Hardly SW-friendly but great none-the-less
 
i was at the continental market lastnight, the other half took me last night to cheer me up a bit,

we shared

a hog roast in a baguette
a bratwhurst sausage
honey roasted pistacios
and some mini buns lol

totally off plan but il walk loads and hula hoop and eat super speedy foods to get back on track
 
My daughter went the German market last night...she said the cherry mulled wine (Gluewein?) is really nice. Think shes going again tonight...both daughters visit it several times while its here. Never been myself but as I love all kinds of spiced cold sausage I think its best i steer clear.

Well we went and my god was flipping freezing me tushy off!! Not to mention it was rather rammed! Couldn't walk. But still loved being with oh :) I had a bratwurst in crunchy roll, some deep fried Gouda and ham on a stick and some gluhwein :) mmmm :) now we goin up our mates and we have Xmas cd on in the car!!!!! Brrrr cold
