Getting back to pre children shape!

Hi All

So, I'm new to the site and new(ish) to exercising etc. Three children down the line and I'm not the woman I used to be! Started running about 18 months ago, started to see a bit of a difference but lost my job and my motivation quickly followed it!

Finally started to get back into it, but know I need to tone up and lose the water that my body loves to retain. I'm really asking for your input. My husband is fairly friendly with a couple of professional atheletes and they have suggested that I run in a sweatsuit. (I don't do gyms, can't afford it, hate exercising around others, so I run solo.)

I guess I am looking for "normal" people who have used a sweatsuit to gauge opinion before I shell out for one! If you can give me motivational hints to keep me going when I'm down so that when I fall on tough times again I don't give up again, thats all to the good as well!
