Green protein smoothies

I plan on starting atkins in the new year and have just bought myself a nutri ninja in the sales with the intention of using it to make a quick breakfast smoothie as I don't always have the time or feel like cooking my usual scrambled eggs.

I am going to buy some whey protein powder as well.

Can anyone recommend any recipes or the best brand of protein powder?
 
Hi Lindz, can't help you on the protein powder as I need real food in the morning but here are some brekkie ideas:

crustless quiche made ahead & frozen - just zap in microwave for breakfast
get a microwave bacon tray - only takes 2 mins to cook bacon & then goes in dishwasher
get an egg boiler - again easy cooking of eggs with little/no washing up

Usn ultra lean diet fuel is the one i used when i was working out hard, like 3 hours a day. Other than that you dont really need it, its a gimmick.
 
Thanks guys. It's just for those mornings when I can barely stomach another egg based breakfast so not every day.
 
I use PHD diet whey. Like you, there's only so many eggs I can stomach.
