Hamsters

DD friend bought a hamster from a breeder & said never again, it was vicious & when she read up on it later or spoke to the vet forget which apparently it's quite common in hamsters bought from breeders. I know you said animal rescue but I'd not be too keen, you don't know how old it is & they only live for about 3yrs as it is.

Gosh my post sounds really negative, I don't mean it to be, personally I'd buy from a pet shop.

we got ours from pet at home ??or city....in there they have a adoption bit...we paid £5.00 for him ...he's lovely and he was still quite young. We hold him all the time...

We got our hamster from the Free Section in the Friday Ads. She was about 6 months old. Her cage came with her, along with some bedding and food. Apparently she did a wee on the little girl who owned her and she refused to go near poor Snuffles after that lol.
