does anyone else share my enthusiasm or am i the only sad HP fan here? LOL
 
I'm a big HP fan too, absolutely love the books - not sure how I'm going to cope with 2 of the characters being killed off tho - and if it's Harry, oh my gawd - it doesn't bear thinking about!

I'll probably re-read them all - again - now, which I've done before each new one has come out, just to be bang up to date & remember what's gone on - any excuse :D

Ive read the books at least 5 times and have loads of HP stuff...watches, bracelets, mousemat, t-shirts you name it, ive probably got it!
Although im looking forward to the book release im also going to be really sad as its the last book in the series...BOO HOO

Im a big fan of Harry Potter too, yet I have not gotten arround to reading the last book :(

I know, ive been reading it since before it was a best seller and every time i start reading it, I dont just get addicted I get absorbed into the book and I cannot leave it.

Oh starlight you don't know what you're missing.
For a few years i refused to get drawn in to 'all the hype about a children's book'. But by the time my oldest was about 8 some of her friends were talking about it so we got a copy of philosopher &took it on holiday to the isle of wight.
At the end of the fortnight I'd caught up with JK & completed all 4 of the books that had been published,& sat waiting for the release of No 5.
I learnt a very important lesson that summer. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it has to be rubbish.

I you don'twant to read them Stephen fry has done amasterful recording of them on bbc talking books

lol I think the hype is exactly whats put me off. Im kind of contrary like that. I should just order the set on ebay or something (and add it to the million other books in my house which have still to be read lol)

Im sure I would enjoy it, any other time Ive reluctantly watched a DVD or something I was convinced I wouldnt like Ive thoroughly enjoyed it (Shrek being a prime example)
 
that's the word-contrary . I have it too &i nearly caused me to miss out on a fabulous other world to inhabit when the state of our planet gets too much. Yeah shrek was better than I expectedtoo. The film that really beat my anticipation was W&G & Attack of the wererabbit.have you seen it?
 
I just can't decide where to pre-order my book from !!!! I usually do Amazon so it's there on the day, I am so excited too !

Where does anyone else think the best pre-order deal is ???
 
Ive just done amazon. They have a deal 1 @ £8.99 or 2 copies (one adult jacket,one childrens) for £ 17.98. with 3 kids I would have got 2 copies anyway to lower the ris of bloodshed. I don't mind the kids fighting I just don't want them spilling it on the sacred pages.
