Hello all,
I thought it might be helpful for people to put ideas onto a thread of meals we have when we choose to go out for a meal, and stay to plan as much as possible. When it's just too much hassle to avoid going for a meal, whether it be for a birthday or whatever, hopefully if people share what they have it may helpful for others.
So tonight I had a meal at....
Wagamama!
Meal- Wagamama Ramen, without noodles. Wagamama is good because they cook everything fresh so you can request for ingredients to be omitted. Wagamama Ramen is a massive bowl of broth-like, thin, very tasty soup. In it is chicken, tofu, white fish, prawn, bamboo shoots, watercress, mushroom and seaweed. Usually they put a load of noodles in but I just said no noodles and it was delicious, and very filling.
The damage- not a lot! Nothing in there is too far off plan, wasn't worried about watercress or seaweed as there isn't too much and green leafy veg usually doesn't have many calories. There may be a little oil used to cook the meaty bits but this seemed to be minimal. The broth is very light, the protein parts are all on the allowed list.
I feel verrrrrrrry full....
