Hellatrix's journey: 3st10lbs to go

Hi, I'm Hellatrix, I'm new to the forum and although I've been blogging my progress thus far, I felt I would come here and share my journey, and I think I'd be more inclined to share more on here, seeing as, for a start, only Slimming World and minimins know my original weight (which I'm still hugely embarrassed about, not ready to bring that to the surface yet!!)

So in July 2012, I joined slimming world and got the shock of my life as I was weighed for the first time in months, I'd somehow ballooned to 16st 9lbs and was utterly disgusted by myself!! But I'd already decided on making the commitment to losing weight and this was IT now - once I've lost this weight I am NEVER being overweight ever again (unless, yknow, I have a baby :eek:)

So since July 2nd 2012, as of 27th October, I've lost 2st 13lb on the red plan of slimming world.

I'm not sure how this works or if people reply, but if it helps your progress or you want to ask anything, feel free. And if you want to give advice where possible, that would be very much appreciated, just due to the fact I'm doing this alone.

I've slipped up this week due to the fact I've been eating out more than I usually would. I'm ashamed to say I've also been starving myself and throwing up food (I have some reasons, they're not great and I am NOT justifying what I've done, but..). I've screwed up my digestion system monumentally this week, and I don't really expect much of a loss if any. I certainly don't deserve it and should've known better. Tried to get back on track today but I've felt VILE as my digestion is still massively screwed up.

Today I've had...2litres water, 1 pear and 42g mozzarella, 3 pieces of lean chicken (probably about 2-3oz), lettuce, mushrooms, an onion, 3 carrots, 2x galletas (galleta is a 26kcal biscuit each), 1 mint "poleo" (spanish tea to help with digestion) - I have a feeling I've missed something out but I'm not sure.

Aims: I know I need to start eating more and I will on monday. I also need to integrate making proper breakfast and make time for it. I also really really need to find some exercise that I won't get bored of quickly!

This week has been a disaster because as people have been able to tell, I've been stressed the last two weeks or so, and I'm pining and missing people. I've punished myself by not eating when I feel I've synned too much or whatever, when I should've just drawn a line under it and started on the healthy eating again. I've realised it's just not the way to do this, it'll set you even further back.

STILL, here's to weigh-in on monday. And here's to a brand new week!! :)
 
Weigh-in today: 3lb loss

3st 7lbs to go :) and I got my 3st award (self-given as I don't attend SW cos I'm abroad)

Midway is now seriously nigh too, this has crept up on me given that I've been in Spain a month, and I had a 29lb weight loss before I came here - how strange!!! Midway will be in 2.5lb time, hopefully I can do that by next week!!

So happy :)
