Hi Mary the Dukan diet is high protein low fat low salt and low carb. There are 4 phases starting with attack whereby you eat protein. This can last up to 10 days depending on how much weight you have to lose. The come cruise where you alternate pure protein and protein and non starchy veg until you get to your desired weight. Then consolidation is when you start to reintroduce carbs etc then stabilisation where you eat what you want except fro Thursday which are pure Protein.
