Hello I'm New...and I love this forum!

Hi!

I am Lisa, and I am waiting approval for a start date on LT! I have made a start though and I am on a Low Fat Healthy Eating plan until I am able to start LT, but wanted to get acquainted with the forum and find out all I can! I have to say it's a great place, very supportive and just what I need!

I am hoping to lose around 7/8 stones by Christmas 2008...

I am trying to lose my pregnancy weight and then some.....My babies are almost six and four, so yes, I am desperate!

I have been very successful with Slimming World in the past, but I just can't get into it again....I need something easy and with quick results to spur me on!

I am really positive that with LT and this amazing place I can succeed...I have had a few health issues and I have seen the light, I also have a very gorgeous son who is severely Autistic and has other Special Needs and he needs a healthy Mum who will be here for him for a very long time, so he is my inspiration as is my beautiful daughter!

I am 35 this sunday and I want to feel 21 again!

Good luck Lisa - although I am sure you will do great. I got some good advice off here just before I started and that was to cut down on the carbs in the days leading up to the 'big start' on LT. I was told (by lillie I think - thanksx) that you get into ketosis quicker. It certainly worked for me. All the best Lisa. Julia x

Hi Lisa, well done on making the first step, It aint easy though but the results are 2nd to none, so good luck. You sound like a lovely mum and your kids will be proud.

Reading through all your lovely replies, you are all doing so well, and you all look brilliant and well gawjuss!

I am loving reading all your stories, you are all brilliant and I am so in the right frame of mind to start LT...until then it's lots of grilled fish, chicken and veggies (no tatties!),brown rice, wholemeal pasta, fruit and water!
