Hello everyone!

New member to this forum & hoping to find lots of support, inspiration & motivation! :)

I have so far lost 4st 7lbs on WW but for the last year have not shifted anything weight at all despite sticking to the plan - I have however lost a lot of inches & have so far dropped 5 dress sizes but I still have 5st to lose so on Monday I will be starting at Rosemary Conley class & hope that the additional exercise class will help.

This year I also took up running & since March I have gone from not being able to run at all to now being able to complete 10K in around 1hr 20 mins (without stopping or walking) which I am so proud of. I may not be fast but I can go the distance & I enjoy it.

Being active has definitely helped with the toning up as I've lost weight.

Anyway - hope to make some friends on here & offer support & motivation in return. :):)

Off to bed now as I have an early start & a 5k run in the morning.

xx

Hiya Lemoncupcake

Well done on your weight loss so far, and five dress sizes you must feel great.:)

How did you start the running? I went for a walk in the woods today with my son and the dogs and was only 10 minutes in and could just about breath lol. Would love to be able to run 5k.

Good luck at RC tmrw xx

Hiya On My Way!

Started with the NHS app for iPhone C25K & then joined a 8 week beginners running group. We had one session per week with the group & then we had to do 2 homework sessions before the next group session. I went from not being able to run to running non-stop for 30 mins in the 8 weeks.
Now 4 months on I regularly run a least 1 5k per week, a few short runs (2 - 3 miles) & 1 long run over 4 miles. My next target is to do a 10k easily without stopping. :)

RC went well - dropped onto the diet quite easily & enjoyed the combat circuit class too. Time will tell. Xx
