Hi,

I started my diet on Monday last week and I'm looking for some help and support along the way. I always manage the first week ok but soon fall off the wagon, but determined this time will be different I thought the best way to succeed is to find like minded people to encourage me.

I'm a size 12 and I'm coming up against a lot of "you don't need to lose weight" whilst it's a compliment it's not spurring me on and my clothes are feeling ever tighter making me more and more unhappy. I'd like to lose a stone but happy to stop before that if I feel happy with my size etc.

I'm calorie counting, using an app to keep track and I've been doing an exercise dvd in the evenings.

I know what you mean about falling off the wagon. ... I'm struggling at the mo after having a relaxed Christmas. ...a few treats have snook in but I've managed to keep with my calories. ... More or less ( if over my 1200 target I've at least stayed within a maintain figure)

people keep telling me I've lost enough and should ease up now but at a size 14 I've still got a way to go. ..I think weight/size is such a personal thing and as long as you are at a 'healthy' weight the only person that can judge what is right for you is you!

I've decided to up my exercise as I'm eating too much. ..I try to not eat back my exercise calories so hopefully I'll still see a loss this week!
