Hi could somebody please tell what nitrates are and why they are bad, and how much fat do have to have a day , as I have been told im not having enough, thanks
We aim for between 60 and 70 percent of daily calories from fat. Ideally 65 fat, 30 protein, 5 carbs. My fitness pal is a great phone app / website where you can imput everything you eat and it will tell you percentages.
If you're worrying about nitrate free bacon, I can tell you just about every atkinser I know eats the regular kind.
