I ate last night - and this morning... :(
Not sure what to do! Half of me thinks I should have a weekend off and get back on it Monday, however I'm starting a new job (bad or good thing?) or, do I get back on it now (even though I've had toast) and maybe I'll be back in ketosis Monday? Is that possible?!
What do you guys reckon?? Arghhh!!!! x

Best to get back on strAight away. You may still be in ketosis. Minimise the damage now. Good luck for Monday! X

Crikey, dyou think I could still be in ketosis? Hope so - yes damage limitation has to be the way forward eh... Don't relish the idea of starting the same day as a new job so you're right, will carry on as normal and forget the last 12 hours ever happened... Think there was a small part of my brain wishing to have the weekend off ;) thanks, needed telling really :)

I would also get back on it right way, as the longer you leave you'll get back in the habit of eating and then not bothering ifswim. And remember what done is done, u can't change the past but you can change the future :) - so as you said forget about it and move on.

Good luck for ur new job..

definately back on it! think of what you could loose by monday instead of gain! :)

Thanks :) Yep you're right - will be extra hard after 2 days of eating... Am guzzling water as I type ;)
Onwards and upwards :)

As well as getting back on it straight away it might do good to think about why you lapsed. Where you feeling emotional/bored/happy? What was happening in your life? What different coping mechanism could you use another time? Woukd some distraction (eg have a nice hot bath, go to the cinema, phone a friend) help? For this to be a lasting change it makes sense to learn from every time we are tempted or lapse. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

Thanks weasey... Total boredom I think, and just wanting to be 'normal' again... It was 11oclock last night so was a tricky time, sat in front of tv. Also oh had had a friend round and they'd been drinking beer n snaffling popcorn and the child in me just didn't think it was fair... Stupid I know but am going to pull it back today :) keep thinking about your 10's moment and that's where I want to be in 3 weeks time so the adult side of brain is back and talking sense! :)

Perhaps if you know something like that will happen another day you can save a bar to have at the same time they are having something? If the TV is boring go and do something else.... When I feel tempted I find it really useful to read rough my list of reasons for wanting to lose weight and to look at the mini goals I have set for myself - read through the ones I have achieved and look at the ones I want to achieve. It really helps to refocus me on my priorities.

It caught me on the hop actually which seems to be my only issue with this diet.. I'm fine if I'm in a routine, not so good if that's broken! I'm going to take your advice about a list of reasons why I want to lose the weight :) it would be so silly to blow it now when I'm almost there! Truthfully I think that's half the problem, I'm so close to eating again i can almost taste it! I emailed s&s and requested refeeding advice but perhaps I should try and forget about that for a couple of weeks... :)
