HELP!!!!

morning all, im really worried!!! my dads 60th birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and have just found out this morning that there is a family lunch being organised at a local restaurant. the problem is none of my family know im doing LT and I cant miss it as its his 60th!!! as much as I really don't want to eat I really need advise on what to eat... im thinking just a salad with no dressing etc... this is a salad from the menu ive just looked at... (also im a veggie :p ) … Roasted Vegetable Salad Nicoise – Green beans, new potatoes, rocket, olives and tomatoes
topped with roasted vegetables, boiled egg and garlic croutons V .......... but I wouldn't eat the croutons tomato or olives.... your help will be much appreciated :) xxx

Would you re-feed a few days before hand? That would probably be advisable otherwise stick 100% to carb free stuff. Or you could try order something very small and just kind of push it around your plate, cut it up and pretend you're eating cos Im sure everyone will be chatting etc and not paying attention? I sound like Im one of those pro-anas Haha but eating anything really can be a downward spiral so if you can avoid it at any cost you should. Enjoy yourself whatever you decide. Oh and maybe have a look at the slim and save section because some of them have an evening meal and stay in ketosis!x
 
Thanks for ur help I really don't want to eat or re feed yet but I found a site about ketogenic foods and what to avoid etc so am going to try my best and have 2 shakes as well. Ahhhh im so nervous!! Xx
 
Ah well then your sorted hun, just make sure its totally ketosis friendly, loads of water then straight back on plan. I hope you have a lovely time x
 
Oh I definitely will, and thanku I'm sure it will be OK. Rather rake him for a nice walk or swim :p xx
