Help :-(

Last year i followed sw at home and was doing brilliantly. However, I've been off the wagon for a while now and am feeling bloated and miserable. I'm desperately clinging to my size 16s and don't want to fit into my size 18 or 20s again! I've lost motivation and feel I'm on a slippery slope...any support would be gratefully received :/

I'm here, you need to look at the stuff you hate right now that weight loss will change. I did the same, lost over a stone and gave up and got back to a horrible unhealthy me. :/ 4th week back on plan.

Hi Wannabe12.
Sorry you feel that you are on a slippery slope! Firstly pick a date in the future, say a birthday, give yourself a target to go for, motivate yourself & write a weekly menu, stick to it & just go for it!
There are hundreds of recipes out there, so pick some new ones & you will soon see the weight falling off. Remember it's all up to you, think of the benifits.
A new wardrobe, a new you & people telling you how good you look!

Maybe a short block of group meetings may get you fired up. I bought a 6 week countdown so I knew I had to go each week, (as I'm too tight to miss anything I've paid for). It was enough to get the ball rolling and I've been doing it at home ever since.

You just need a little something to get you back in the zone and once you've got that focus you will be fine. Good luck :)

Maybe get rid of the clothes that are size 18/20? Then there is no option to get back into them. Set yourself small goals to start with, focus on them rather than a bigger goal which seems so far away. Good luck, you can do it :)

I'm making my boyfriend do this (throw clothes out) he has this t-shirt he wears that makes him look 3-4 times bigger then he is :/

Thanks everyone for your replies. I guess I've been very pressured at work recently, working late nights and eating rubbish instead of decent meals. I'd maybe do two on plan days then go off big style. My 18/20s are long gone and I don't plan to buy those sizes ever again, so that in itself is a motivator especially as my 16s are starting to strain. I have a hen party next month, so Im going to aim to be comfortable again in my 16s by then, and then move towards 14 by October. My original aim was to become a size 14 by now, and I'm so disappointed in myself that i haven't-triggering a bit of emotional eating too. Funny, when I think about it I can see all my downfalls, now to give myself a kick up the backside. Tomorrow is a new day and time to get restarted!! Thanks again all, much appreciated x

It's great to throw all those oversize clothes out!
