Here I Go Again...

Hi all, I am new to posting but have been lurking a while...
Today sees me starting yet again to try and lose a stone. Am currently 10st3 and fed up of the flab!!
One thing I won't be doing tho is counting my cups of tea into the equation.. But if the weight doesn't start shifting I will then lol!
I am unfortunately a serial weigher so I need to try not to do that..
I'm not sure I will be posting much but I feel I need to kick myself up the uknowwhat..!!

Well not such a good start to the plan as I lunched out yesterday which included one glass of wine...oops.
Had SW hummus with carrot and celery and some asda roasted pepper couscous for tea. No breakfast as I really struggle to eat in the mornings..
However I did weigh 10st 1.25 this morning!
Not sure if that was my scales playing tricks as that is a lot to lose overnight lol..
I am quite proud of myself for only having one glass of wine tho lol!
Back on it today..
Breakfast not sure yet.. I never feel like eating in the mornings but I am hungry!
Lunch will be salad and turkey and wholemeal pitta hexb (I think)
Dinner asda reduced calorie chicken sizzler and salad. Not sure of the syn value for that...
Snacks planning on fat free yoghurt and fruit, grapes.
Various cups of tea lol (hexa?)

I'm actually not very good a planning so this could all change!
I'd maybe be better reporting on what I actually DID eat at the end of the day.. :)
 
Well I haven't been here in a while and have not been doing very well :(
I have gained what i lost and put on 2 more pounds :(
Maybe I haven't been taking it seriously enough, but I well and truly fell off the wagon. So here I am starting afresh.
My goal is to lose a stone to get me to 9st 5lb..
My first target is to get to 10st..
I can do this I know, my major stumbling block is getting under that!
I am going to stick rigidly to the rules this time and make sure I count those Syns.

Breakfast - All Bran & 100ml milk HEXB and some A and a few grapes
Lunch - a big tuna salad :) Edit this turned into salad and cous cous!!
Tea - I plan to make the risotto from the one pot slimming world cookbook..

I havent planned my syns yet.. I'm not sure how I'm going to use them but we'll see
I have given up sugar in my tea so I will count the milk as syns so that I can use the rest of my HEXA on cheese!!

I plan to weigh every day as there is no point saying I wont lol!!

So yesterday was a bit of a flop.. we went out for bank holiday monday, I forgot to eat breakfast and was starving when we were out. The result? A lincolnshire sausage hotdog with onions and sauce!!! dread to think how many syns in that!!
I was good for tea tho, had leftover SW risotto all free.. topped with some HEXA grated cheese.
Had some naughty cinzano bianco for probs about 16 syns so am way over today..
Not a good start!
However I have lost a pound since sunday :)
Todays food.

Skipped breakfast.. (I rarely feel like eating brekkie)
Lunch HEXB wholemeal roll HEXA grated cheese (saved some of it for later too!!) + Beetroot (free)
Not sure what to have for tea but I think it might be pasta and veg/passata or something and salad. Need to go shopping!
 
Day 3 continued...So I did actually go shopping..actually walked to Morrisons instead of ordering online.. go me! lol

I had chicken breast quarter with salad and new potatoes for my tea in the end and it was yum! added the cheese left over from my hexa this morning and synned a bit of light salad cream.
I'm rather delighted with myself as my son was having Papa Johns pizza and it was very hard resisting!!

And now I'm going to have a cheeky martini or three, without going over my syns!!

I'm hoping i will get into it this time and stay focussed..
 
So food for today..

Breakfast All Bran + 100ml milk HEXB and part HEXA + grapes

Lunch - went to Handmade Burger with my son and I was extremely good and had the chicken skewers and salad, worst thing was the cajun mayo which i have synned.

Tea - salad new potatoes and dry cured ham

1 chocolate finger 1.5 syns

Im not certain exactly how many syns i've had so far, I'm going to guess at 6 so there's a few left to have my cheeky martini :) (have you guessed I like my Martini, I'm so bad!) :(

Ooh weight this morning 10st2.75lbs!! Its shifting down!! Yay..

thats another 1.5lbs down from yesterday..still waiting for it to slow down to be honest-I can't believe it going down so quickly.
Yesterday I sneaked in a mini baby bel as i knew I hadnt had all my hexa..
menu for today..
not sure but probs the following

mullerlight and fruit for brekkie
hexb wholemeal roll and ham salad or pickle for lunch
plan on having fish pie and veg will be some syns in that for the cheese sauce, no idea how many as its a ready meal.

not sure what i will spend my syns on today after i have worked out whats in the fish dish..and also how i will use my hexa.
i have longley farm cottage cheese and i would love to know if i could have that as a hexa (its not fat free)

well i am fearing the worst about the haddock in cheese sauce as far as syns go... i think i will end up going over today
i cant possibly see any weight loss for tomorrow like the previous days have been going..but when i look at actual calories consumed its less than 1000??
i feel totally stuffed tho.. hmmm i dunno.. feeling a bit flat now :(
 
I was right..for some reason! Put on half a pound..wish I could stay off the scales! I think it would have more impact on my mind if I stepped on them once a week..
Anyway food today

B mandarin Muller light plus Clementine

L hex b roll ham tomato thin spread light mayo plus was still hungry so had some cottage cheese lettuce and sweetcorn.

D will be quorn bolognaise and pasta with hex a grated cheese yum!

Was happy to discover the cottage cheese is only half a syn for 100 g as I hate the fat free stuff!
 
Haven't managed to pass on the martini so, syns today were about 13 I think. I feel bloated yet hungry today. Been difficult to resist temptation of the biscuit tin. I don't feel like I will have a loss tomorrow but you never know..I hope I do as this is the point where I usually give up. We normally have take away on Friday but this week I said no! Much to younger son's disgust lol..still feeling flat... :-(
 
Weight was 141 this morning. So lost 3/4 lb... 10 lbs to go! That's the final target, I might revise it once I get there..if I ever do!
I think I need to address some things tho..like I could do with doing more exercise! I really should try not to have the martini every night lol. But it's only about 2 units of alcohol which is within the safe limits. If I opened a bottle of wine I'd prob have triple that.. I am missing my red wine :-( God I'm useless!

D quorn and veg chili with rice and hex a grated cheddar

Will snack on fruit.. not sure how I will use my syns yet...I usually syn my milk in my tea..and use them for sauces/mayo and martini lol. Next week will be back at work and kids back to school so I won't be drinking as much :D
 
Decided to have beans scrambled egg and mushrooms for breakfast..well it was more like brunch. 1 syn for brown sauce.
I just felt like something hearty! and i woke up feeling ravenous today.. am hoping that the hunger pangs will ease as i get into this more because im not a fan of fruit and yoghurt galore if im honest...need some guilt free snack ideas!! :)
 
Yesterday didn't go to plan in the good department..changed my tea to jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn with hex a cheese and couple syns of mayo. Then 3 glasses of red wine! Whoops!
Weighed 140.75 this morning. Am happy with that.

breakfast today Activia fat free strawberry yoghurt with grapes.
Lunch hex b roll with scraping of light spread and cottage cheese salad 2 syns
Snack 4 chocolate finger biscuits.. 6 syns oops! Clementine.
Tea..going to make the quorn chili I didn't make yesterday with rice and hex a cheese
Various mugs of tea..still not having sugar. 3 syns for milk.
Total syns so far 11.best not have any more :-(

I think I'm going to keep up the fruit intake it seems to be helping with erm......digestion!
 
Well weight this morning was 10 stone so I'm happy with that...just praying I keep going in the right direction!

Food today
Grapes for breakfast..
Lunch hex b roll with ham and pickle and a Muller light Greek strawberry yoghurt.
Tea quorn chili and rice. Some grated cheese hexa
About 6 mugs tea with about 3 syns milk
A naughty club cake bar! 5 syns? ?

Am stuffed!

Hi! Thanks for popping in! I wasn't sure anyone was even reading this lol. I've only been doing it for a little over a week. have started before but gave up very quickly. this time I'm on it! I'm enjoying the food but I really do miss biscuits and crisps and mayonnaise lol! :) good luck to you!

I really miss mayo too. When I did atkins everything I ate was literally covered in ha. Even the low fat ones are high in syns so I need to be so careful lol

Whats your fave meal?
 
I like a good chili or spaghetti Bolognese. Roast dinners, baked potato and anything! They aren't the same without a good gravy or some kind of naughty sauce tho..I think I miss my sauces the most..I need to investigate some yummy but low syn ones. . I try to eat my normal foods but make them sw friendly! How about you? :)
