Hi all, just thought i'd say hello as ive rejoined Slimming World & thought i'd join this site to help me stay motivated. I have 1st 2lb to loose. I find it difficult to keep weight off especially since i hit my 30's :-(. I lost 13lb about 6 months ago through Slimming World but once i stopped goin it gradually creeped up :-(. Anyway im determined to loose and keep it off!

Hi Helen, I'm a newbie to SW, joined group 3 wks ago and though my weight loss is possibly going to be slow (I've lost 4lbs), for the first time in my life I am happy to lose 1-2lbs a week and not be hungry or feel deprived of anything!! I'm loving the freedom to choose what I eat and be totally in control of how I choose my food to suit my situation. I've always done "quick win" or fad diets before and lost almost 3st on Atkins but couldn't maintain it as I love potatoes and rice, so I'm a total convert to this plan and love to find new recipes. I'm with you on being determined and even if I lose 1lb a week between now and Christmas I know that I will look and feel so much better and be very proud of myself! Good luck to you

Hi Sue, thanks for the message. I totally agree with you and this is a great diet as i can eat my faves such as spag bol & chilli con carne. Good luck to you too Sue you'll soon be at your ideal weight as you have such a great attitude.

Awwww I'm loving the slow wt loss vibes in here lol... I've done ww before n could loose 2/3lbs a week... That was maybe 3 yrs ago.. I'm 30 next year helen (sob) n have VOWED to myself that I'll have reached my target weight (by chrimbo) n then have maintained it off till bday (June) but more than that.. My 20s were for being daft, my 30s will be for healthy living excersise n maybe even baby making??? Who knows but no more struggling with wt.. The message is simple.. So I joined SW 5 wks ago n I have lost 5lb.. Horah.. Slow n steady wins the race.. I reckon another stone n half off n I'll be chuffed as chips.. No no I mean chuffed as chuffed carrots lol that would get me to 10 n half stone!! Good luck ladies!!!!! X
