Hello, everyone!
I am new to the forum and to weight loss in general, I am still young and so my weight is fluctuating a lot (mid-teens) however I still feel uncomfortable with my weight/size and I want to feel confident enough to not have to cover up during the Summer months and to look stunning as a bridesmaid in October! That being said, I know that every girl, lady and woman is gorgeous no matter their size x
I'm still in my first week of 'dieting' - I began the week on a severely limited diet however I've began to loosen up on what I can and can't eat in order to keep the diet to something I can maintain
It's difficult not having an income of my own as my family tend to buy mainly processed foods, whilst not bad once in a while, I fear they could be part of the reason for my recent weight gain (as well as my incessant snacking!)
The aim is to strip my diet completely of white bread/pasta and sweets/pizza/chocolate/crisps/biscuits until I feel that I'd be able to eat them in moderation and not over-indulge
I currently weigh around 10st, while not overweight (5ft 3"), I want to adopt a healthier lifestyle, I've been exercising using the nintendo Wii on "Wii Fit" and "Just Dance," and I've also enrolled in a Karate class which should help with my low self-esteem/improve my fitness however I'm already somewhat lacking the drive to continue, and I don't want to give in to a "bad day" because I know I'm the kind of person who needs to get into a habit to be able to stick to something.
