How quickly does hair grow?

Hi

I had long hair last year(lower than by bra strap) but had to have it cut short and often because of a perm that had gone wrong and fried my hair

My hair is now just below my shoulder, but I want it to grow quicker.

How fast does it grow and is there something I can take to increase the speed whilst on CD?

I think on average hair grows half an inch a month.

Are you allowed to take supplements/vitamins whilst on CD? If so, try sea kelp (available from Holland & Barrett and most places).
