You will need:
For the burger:
Extra lean mince beef
1 Onion chopped finely
1 garlic chopped finely
1 tapPaprika
1 tsp All Purpose Seasoning
1 tspOregano
1 tsp Chilli powder
Salt
Mix together. I have a burger press and it is the best thing ever! If you don't have one you will need an egg to bind the pattie.
I make a load fresh and then freeze them.
So for the build you will need:
Wholemeal bun
Low fat cheese - sliced thinly with a potato peeler
Lettuce leaves
1 onion - sliced in rings
2 bacon rashers fat removed
1 tbsp lighter than light mayo
1 tbsp of ketchup
Slice the bun and add the lettuce leaves and mayo:
Add a thin layer of cheese to balance the lettuce for the build!
Fry your onion rings until golden. Push the frying pan to the side and add the bacon until cooked. Push that aside too, add the burger and cook to your preference. Put the remaining cheese slices on the burger and finish under the grill.
