How to calculate syns

Someone has mentioned you can calculate syn values as 1 syn per 20 calories - is this ok?

Yup as long as no there is no free food allowance.

This only works for sweets... Eg: sweets crisps chocolate

It works for anything that doesn't have a free food as a main ingredient
