I can haz cake?
I thought it might be nice to start this thread as we don't have much general chit chat area like the rest of the forums! :) Would be lovely if we could get to know each other out of the Juddd!


So today I had a whoopsie... Got my hormone implant changed, and got stitches (steri strips)....and they seem to be pulling off/nipping and causing some discomfort.... god damn flabbly wobbly arms XD Last time I got it in (it wasnt a replacement) so they just punched it into my skin, had a wee tiny hole, which only needed a wee plaster... now i've got stitches and gauze.... madness!


So talk to me judddders :) xxx
 
Day 1 of Juddd - thought try today as have had to go to work. No one else in to tempt me with goodies. Got a driving lesson in a bit. Not sure if such a good idea with rumbly tummy tho... Have had a few Bach's rescue remedy to still my nerves!
 
Well I have been quite busy today, the Sun has been shining and its really warm, OH is afternoons so just me and the kids, I have painted one decking area and half of another, I would have done both but I ran out of stain !!! Was hoping to get it finished as a surprise for hubby one less thing for him to do, never mind will finish it off tomorrow, been shopping online for School uniforms, only 3 to buy this year as my eldest has just left school and hoping to go to college, he will be more expensive this year as he is going to need lots of new clothes and he is not at all interested in them so its like pulling teeth getting him to choose stuff. Think I might treat myself to some new clothes too since I have had a wardrobe clear out, don't seem to have many clothes left? Going to have my supper now and watch some sport on TV it makes you feel like getting out there doesn't it, if only my old body was up to it, never mind lol

Very interesting day for me as I've decided to ditch Dukan (which works) and start JUDDDering!! Had a fascinating day reading up on the subject and have bought the book to read too. All stems from the Horizon programme as I was quite happy with Dukanning until I caught up with the programme last night ....

Anyhow, big weekend for us (our son's 3rd birthday, birthday party and friends over for lunch on Sunday), socialising on Monday too so it's an UP day start for me on Tuesday.

Look forward to getting to know you all.

I'm itching! I went to the pub last night and say in beer garden (enjoying a vodka as an UD yay!!) and I've been eaten alive by gnats :-( My back is covered and they itch like mad! I've taken some anti histamine but I react really badly do they are red and swollen!

Any ideas to help very welcome ladies!?
 
OOOh sounds nasty, bicarb applied as a paste helps, but its messy or some calamine ??

Eek! Any kind of (non-scented) moisturising cream will help but, to be honest, I think the antihistamines are your best friend.

Hope they're better today.

Thanks ladies - still itching this morning so I'm going to get some cream from the chemist this morning. Thanks for the advise xx
 
Did someone say.... pizza?! I'm in!!! :D

Soooo pissed off today - i had a squabble with my friend over something silly (we both has a part to blame) and I would've been willing to say that yes I was partly in the wrong etc... but he decided to delete me off facebook/msn etc in a complete huff... 3 weeks later (today) he sent me a message on facebook saying he was "sort of" apologising, not for what he did just that it happened... another dickmove on a long list and I'm starting to wonder if hes worth the time.

The bazinga of the lot was him telling me he'd date me if I wasnt overweight.

What a horrible comment from a so called friend! Oh you do not need friends like that!!

If you have managed 3 weeks without him in your life and you are ok then ask yourself what he brings to your life - if it is more negative than positive then let him go.

See you are growing and moving on from him and you'll be a much better without him in your life. You don't need people who hold you back as you start your journey to a new you :)

I knew someone like that - a huffy twat. And he once told me we'd get engaged if I got to a size 12 and married if a size 10.
I was quite besotted and got to a size 12.
I met someone else tho, got married, have 2 kids. He's still single.

I'm not remotely upset about it anymore, havent replied and don't intend to, he can go stuff himself quite frankly =) Although to be fair it has taken me about a year to come to this conclusion lol

Had a good day today, went out shopping with OH and 3 of the kids this morning, there were some stalls in town and the kids got some freebies and balloons so they were happy, OH had some new aftershave so he was happy and I passed on the pasties and mini welsh cakes so I was happy lol. Finished painting the decking and started getting things ready for the beach tomorrow, eaten 450 cals as its a DD and not the slightest bit hungry so all in all a good day xx
