I Have a Question!

Surfhunny

Laugh in the face of food
I first did Cambridge very successfully back in 2008, through one reason and another I find myself with a fair amount of weight to lose again. My question is this:

Will I still see the same losses as I did the first time as long as I stick to it 100%? I've tried unsuccessfully over the last couple of years to lose weight with this diet, I've dabbled and cheated. Have I messed up my metabolism for good, so that the diet won't work as successfully this time? Is it likely to take me a lot longer to lose a similar amount of weight (I've set my target lower this time).

Sorry that was more a barrage of questions than one question!

I lost 3 stone last year, came off plan for most of november and all of december, I gained 1 and a half stone back, Had my weigh in today, after 4 days back on plan I've lost 11lbs!!!!! I think you just need to really commit, stick to the plan and the weight will come off :) good luck xxx

Thanks Chrissy, I am firmly committed, and I will do it properly for as long as it takes. I'm just trying to judge whether I can still expect the 1st a month loss that Cambridge say to expect. Or whether my metabolism will be messed up. I've heard so many conflicting things over the years.

Hi Surfhunny, just like yourself im back here again to, ive got 1.5 stone to loose, i lost almost 9 stone back in 2010, so would just like to say im with you on this, and good luck

I was wondering that myself, But the 1st week I did cambridge last year I lost 10lbs, This week (only been 4 days since my last weigh in) I've lost 11lbs, I think everyone varies, Maybe my body just really wants me to get thin lol! I need to lose weight or I may need surgery on my spine, I'd rather avoid that if I can lol!xx

If that's not motivation I don't know what is, well done for the loss so far. For me the first time I lost 9lbs the first week so I'm only 2lbs down on that with a day to go, I shouldn't complain really.
